WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for placing Purchase Orders to suppliers, managing Distro’s, Size scales and reviewing production samples. This is an intermediate analytical focused role but also requires experience in apparel/accessories development and construction. We are looking for people who are passionate about product.

• Work with Merchandising and Design on Product handovers.
• Follow up on pending product details.
• Approve production fabrics, trims and TOP samples.
• Maintain organized seasonal approval library of approved samples and trims.
• Place and confirm all production purchase orders with suppliers.
• Approve Shipments per assigned vendors.
• Size scale management
• Review sales orders against production and manage ATS size scales according to recent selling history
• Maintain seasonal Time Action Calendar as well as Weekly Production Schedule per vendor
• Understands the rules & regulations that go along with the production of our product
• Understands the construction and production processes relevant to assigned product categories.
• Potential for travel to check production progress and quality of work in process. (international and domestic)
• Assist in Fabric Projection management
• Responds promptly to production and development inquiries.
• Responds to requests for service and assistance from sales and customer service and warranty teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant industry experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups, Formulas, Pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation)
• Extensive attention to detail related to calendar, quality, and system information is required. Need strong understanding of the production process and goals of the department
• At least 1-3 years of experience in a design department, production department or merchandising department
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
• Basic understanding of database systems
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize “problems” as they come up; identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
• Works well in groups or teams
• Willingness to learn new categories and skills
• Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures.
• This position requires a minimum of 3 in office days in of our Costa Mesa location. Employees are required to work as many as 5 in office days per week until they have mastered the tasks required of this position at the discretion of their direct manager.

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $20 - $24. This position is hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
