Liberty Tax of Sylacauga, AL. is hiring for Entry-Level and Experienced Income Tax Preparers to join our growing team!
Qualifications for Income Tax Preparer:
- PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) is required
- Motivated and flexible
- Self-starter
- Previous tax and computer experience is a plus but not a necessity
- Delegates effectively
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Sense of urgency

Responsibilities for Income Tax Preparer:
- Handles client complaints. Call the Client to get Feedback
- Enforces tax, policy and procedure changes
- Promotes quality customer service
- Oversees all aspects of the Tax Office and/or Processing Center, Fix Rejects
- Prepares taxes as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
