Job Description

The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who is a team player, has great organizational skills and excels in a fast-paced environment. This position will serve as a Human Resources Student Assistant completing administrative tasks to support the human resource functions for the Jackson Human Resources Office that provides support to 6 MDOC facilities.
Ideal candidates will have:


  • A strong understanding of prioritization of tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills and attitude.

Required Education and Experience

Current enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution. Specific information on the education and experience required for different class levels is in the job specifications for the Human Resources Student Assistant class.

Additional Requirements and Information

The student must provide evidence of enrollment or acceptance to an educational institution.
