What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospitality Coordinator position at Life.Church?
The Hospitality Coordinator is primarily responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the food, beverage, and hospitality logistics for trainings, meetings, and other special events at the Life.Church Central Office. This role will support and partner with multiple Central teams to organize the catering and hospitality needs for their events and meetings while also providing an inventory of event resources and supplies for teams to independently leverage.

This role is responsible for providing support in coordination with their team’s efforts to further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ.
\n- Plan, coordinate, and oversee food, beverage, and hospitality logistics for Central meetings, trainings, or other events.
- Assist the hosting team(s) in creating an outstanding hospitality experience for staff trainings, meetings, and special events.
- Support Learning and Development Group staff trainings, meetings, and events through overall organization of event logistics, catering, travel arrangements for participants, and communication with Central teams.
- Consult with Central teams to set event budgets and coordinate logistics for their event’s catering and hospitality needs.
- Inventory, stock, and maintain hospitality resources and supplies, including decorations, serving dishes, and utensils to ensure proper stock amount and organization.
- Create and maintain an internal webpage/catalog of ideas and resources related to staff events.
- Effective work and time management, multi-tasking, and trustworthiness to meet committed timelines.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to foster relationships and partnerships.
- Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and problem-solve.
- Ability to adapt to tight and variable deadlines, large workloads, and maintain a flexible mindset toward change.
- Strong guest relations, customer service, and hospitality skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 12 months of related work experience.
