The Purchasing Senior Data Analyst is primarily responsible for providing data analysis through data visualizations in Tableau. This role is responsible for utilizing computer programming and data manipulation techniques to develop and redefine data visualizations that are pertinent to Purchasing and Product Sales. The Senior Data Analyst provides data solutions that equip teams and ministries to further Life.Church’s mission and to reach people for Christ.

The Purchasing Team sources Life.Church campus and Central teams with everything from furniture and equipment to print, promotional, and apparel items they need to operate their ministries successfully.

What You’ll Do- Responsible for evaluating the information obtained, conducting any statistical analysis of the data deemed advisable, and then preparing reports for the Purchasing Central Team Leader, Director of Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing Team, Ministry Teams, and Leadership as required.
- Responsible for installation, back-ups, and routine updates on data sources.
- Maintain data integrity through high-performance optimization.
- Manage system integrations to ensure an accurate flow of data.
- Ensure proper working order for Purchasing Tableau dashboards, minimizing errors and downtime.
- Support and review existing Purchasing and Product Sales Tableau dashboards.
- Support and provide data and data visualization solutions to the visions and goals of the team.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and other teams to define data requirements and specifications.
- Provide customer service to team members who need insights regarding Purchasing and Product Sales Data.
- Develop new Tableau dashboards as requested. Develop back‐end data processes to support data visualizations.
- Provide technical solutions to the visions and goals of the Purchasing team.
- Create and support scripting procedures to support business continuity and clarity to processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously simplifying and improving systems.
- Ensure proper monitoring of database backups, recovery, and server up time rates in partnership with Data Insights.
- Monitor query performance and offer guidance where needed.
- Ensure proper management of the database.
- Create queries for one‐off datasets as needed for specific initiatives.

- Maintain a systematic and organized approach to completing assignments accurately, thoroughly, and timely.
- Clearly explain complicated and detailed processes in a concise and simple way.
- Ability to self‐motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and problem‐solve.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 3 – 5 years of related work experience.
