Our National Sales Manager is responsible for advancing the customer experience, distribution, business planning, revenue and share growth across a portfolio of existing and prospective national consumer retail partners (e.g. Amazon, Costco, Lowes, PotteryBarn). Our National Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day business to achieve sales goals and establish the capability to win in the future by partnering internally and externally to develop and execute successful programs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strong partner relationships driving engagement through joint business plans
Sell, negotiate, and execute partner plans to achieve objectives for Life Fitness and deliver annual gross/net sales and market share targets.
Something about financial forecasting / demand planning? May be slightly addressed in communicate product inventory levels to vendor partners, but should we expect this person to be more proactive than reactive
Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide continued business solutions for partner and end-customer needs
Support Sales organization with the building blocks of item creation to sell via eCommerce channels
Partner with Marketing and Digital teams to ensure everyone is helping drive a cohesive content strategy
Use cross-functional team skills to populate required product specification information
Analyze sales trends to monitor category performance
Study and communicate product inventory levels accurately to vendor partners
Monitor item performance across varying platforms to optimize sales opportunities
Generate quotes for specific partners upon request
Support in management of order to cash process (orders, stock management and revenue recognition in collaboration with the customer operations team); Coordinate with 3rd party EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) partners to ensure the ability to process orders
Other responsibilities and duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3 years of omni-channel sales experience; prior experience managing partnerships with large-format e-tailers including working on item set-up and creation required
Significant knowledge of digital/online space - Experience in an eCommerce environment and familiarity with platforms/technology strongly preferred
Strong business and analytical acumen
Proven track record of managing revenue targets, with a strong desire to consistently overachieve against both personal targets and objectives
Demonstrable Sales experience, with a proven track record of delivering strong results against both revenue targets and KPI measures in previous roles
Good level of experience in strategic sales planning and implementation, including experience of pipeline management
Excellent knowledge of PC and Microsoft Word/Excel applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time by plane and car, as needed
