Sales Assistant Job Requirements:
An administrative sales assistant's job is to provide the support required to help and assist a sales advisor with their daily sales functions while performing daily administrative duties. The following are the requirements/expectations of an administrative sales assistant’s daily duties:
- Greeting Customers & Offering assistance
- Accepting payments on accounts
- Accept and record information regarding incoming calls from funeral homes
- Answering Incoming information calls and direct accordingly
- Ability to Generate leads from inner office filing system
- Research Family's Obituary to create leads for our heritage program
- Reach out to families either via phone or mailings regarding our current promotions
- Memorial Designs/Layouts – ability to design and present to client families
- Creating appointments for Property Deed presentation and receipt confirmation
- Be able to perform park tours/burial verifications
- Must be proficient with interment verification process (Flagging process)
- Mailings (Letters/Postcards) to generate leads
- Prepare Funeral Follow-up documentation/folders
- Cold Calls (Self-Generated)
- Park Ranger- Must interact with park visiting families (public relations) to create/generate leads
- Family Heritage Documents, Privacy Notices, Emergency Contact forms to current families.
