The IT Assistant serves as the first contact with employees who need technical assistance. The IT Assistant will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems and providing training to users to maximize the productivity value of technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues.
Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques.
Keep record of problems and their resolutions.
Provide needed information on IT products or services.
Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service.
Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software and configuration of hardware.
Redirect unresolved issues to IT management.
Provide feedback on processes and procedures and make recommendations on areas to improve.
Manage the company’s website.
Assist in the management of company systems and ensure systems are serving employees and customers adequately.
Assist the marketing department in managing the company’s digital presence.
Work on special projects as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in an IT-related role or A Certified preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel locally.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Experience with phone system management preferred.
Experience with Office 365 Administration preferred.
Experience with programming languages, including PHP, highly preferred.
