What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor position at Life Solutions South, LLC?
The Clinical Supervisoris a principal member of the Clinical Team, who provide specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills in the areas of psychotherapy, clinical counseling, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning to individuals ranging in age from six to late adulthood. ProvidesDiagnostic Evaluations, Psychotherapyfor individuals, groups, and/or families. Also, includes Therapeutic Behavioral Servicesas clinically indicated by the clients Individual Treatment Plan.
The Clinical Supervisor reports directly to a Clinical Director who is licensed by the State of Ohio with a higher scope of licensure,with general oversight by theProgram Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills in the area’s psychotherapy, clinical counseling, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning
- Develop a therapeutic relationship with each client. Provides individual, group or family therapy as needed.
- Available for Clinical Consultation
- Maintains ongoing frequent contact with other assigned professionals, parents or outside agency professionals assigned to case.
- Provide CPST and minor case management functions if needed
- Assume a strong advocacy role for clients and makes recommendations for clinical and support services needed upon discharge
- Actively participates in all treatment conferences and meetings for the clients
- Complete all paperwork required by the agency within designated time frames
- Provides education and resources for patients and family members
- May clinically supervise an intern or clinically supervise Qualified Mental Health Specialist as needed
- Participates in continuing professional education, departmental meetings and teaching
- Required one to two hours of unpaid supervision and/or clinical team meeting
- Maintain supervision log for supervisee as required by the agency, and state licensure requirements
- Continued education to meet licensure requirements
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Minimum educational level is a bachelor’s degree in Social work, Psychology, or related fields.
· Clinical licensure in one of the following is required LSW, LPC, MFT, LISW, LISW-S or LPCC or IMFT
· All therapists must maintain current CEU’s Certification and current Ohio licensure in their respective fields.
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License
- CPR/First Aid Certified
COMPLEXITY OF WORK:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently • Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
