*Responsibilities*
- Lead and manage nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee patient care activities, ensuring adherence to best practices in medication administration and airway management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective utilization management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with hospice policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining high standards of care.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives as necessary.
- Chart auditing
*Requirements*
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Proven experience in nurse management or a similar leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and nursing protocols
- Experience in utilization management and familiarity with hospice medicine practices is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals at all levels.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining patient-centered care focus.
