Position Summary:
The Life Teen Creative Director oversees the Life Teen creative vision, ensuring unified brand representation that upholds its mission and values. With the responsibility of directly managing and mentoring the Creative team, the position falls within the Marketing Division, reporting to the Vice President of Marketing. The Creative Director oversees the lifecycle of design and creative projects, maintaining brand consistency and integrating the latest design trends. Additionally, this leader ensures budget efficiency & metric reporting for Creative projects. The position fosters a culture of continuous learning and promotes open feedback channels, effectively collaborating with business partners to ensure deadlines are met. By working internally and with external agencies and partners, the Creative Director is instrumental in sculpting Life Teen's visual and creative essence to ensure its impact on the target audience.
Life Teen Creative Director: Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Work with Marketing leadership to establish the creative vision, ensuring all creative projects align with the Life Teen brand, its mission and values.
• Team Management: Directly manage and mentor Senior Designers & Social Media team, fostering their professional growth & project success.
• Collaboration: Support the Vice President of Marketing on strategic vision, branding & creative design, ensuring cohesive brand representation.
• Project Oversight: Oversee design and creative projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high-quality standards. Proactively communicate with business partners on challenges or risks to deadlines and offer solutions to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Brand Consistency: Safeguard the consistency and integrity of the Life Teen brand across all platforms and materials.
• Innovation: Stay up to date on the latest design trends and technologies, integrating innovative solutions and ensuring Life Teen remains at the forefront of youth ministry design.
• Budget Management: Oversee the creative budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and maximizing resources.
• Feedback & Revisions: Collaborate with other departments to gather feedback, making necessary design revisions to meet project objectives.
• External Collaboration: Engage with external agencies or freelancers when required, project managing creative work through completion..
• Marketing campaign design & execution: manage the creation of multi-channel marketing content, including print, email & social campaigns.
• Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on project statuses, team performance, and other relevant metrics for the Marketing Division..
