Position Summary
The Pilates Instructor is responsible for providing various Pilates training services (utilizing apparatus such as reformer, towers, chairs and mat) that offers members programs to maximize workout efficiency, improve fitness, increase stamina, enjoy their fitness experience and improve overall sense of well-being. A Pilates Instructor will engage with members through complimentary Pilates sessions, workshops, and fee based Pilates services like Pilates Fundamentals, and 1 on 1 Pilates Sessions. Pilates Instructors attend team meetings, educational workshops and all other Personal Training department activities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops safe, professional and comprehensive Pilates training programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals
- Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
- Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
- Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
- Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
- Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan
- Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
- Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
- Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of personal training experience
- Experience in Pilates program design
- Certified Pilates Trainer
- CPR and AED Certified
- 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Requirements
- College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field

Pay: $30,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
