What are the responsibilities and job description for the GameFace Sport Coach position at Life Time?
Position Summary
GameFace SPORT is a program geared towards 9-12 year olds who are looking to learn how to become more athletic. This class focuses on teaching kids how to control their body through SAQ exercises (speed, agility, quickness). The SPORT coach will be responsible for delivering the lesson plan each day in a safe, fun and engaging manner. This person should be positive, high energy, and looking to start their career in sports performance.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Delivers safe, professional, and comprehensive classes to ensure athletes are engaged and having fun
Monitors, demonstrates, and instructs athletes on proper techniques
Bring new ideas to the program to keep it innovative
Talk to members in order to get feedback on what they like or what we can improve with our staff
Complete daily/weekly/monthly checklist to organize, repair and take inventory of equipment and supplies to avoid a disruption in programming
Required Qualifications
HS Graduate or Equivalent
Experience playing sports at a high level (HS Varsity or beyond)
Exercise Science degree or pursuing similar degree or certification
Experience working with kids
Ability to communicate professionally verbally and in written form
Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds
