Position Summary
As a Senior Personal Training Manager, you will be a tenured and successful PT Manager within Life Time Training. You will lead a team of Fitness Professionals through their career at Life Time and supervise all revenue departments and Team Members within Life Time Training. You will oversee the hiring to maintain the desired level of fitness professionals (15-50). You will drive key company initiatives, manage budget and P&L and ensure all Fitness Professionals are educated in the Core 3 Method. On top of these duties, you will assist your Area Lead in the success of the region.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures an artistry level member experience on the fitness floor daily
- Helps to manage the overall financial success of your region within Life Time Training
- Motivates and coaches Personal Trainers to achieve revenue and session goals
- Ensures Trainers are promoting and selling personal training programs
- Completes payroll and ensures payroll expenses are within budgetary guidelines
- Mentors new training managers
- Manages 90-day on-boarding process for new Personal Trainers
- Assesses individual performance, provides feedback, and employee recognition
- Makes hiring, promotion, disciplinary, and termination recommendations to the General Manager
- Conducts weekly Personal Training Department and Management meetings
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Consistent performance of 110% of Revenue and EBITDA or at least 1 year
- 2 to 3 years of experience in sales, including management of revenue and EBITDA metrics
- 2 to 3 years of supervisory or management experience
- 3 or more years of personal training experience
- Certification in Personal Training
- CPR and AED certified within 6 months of hire
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelors degree in kinesiology, sports medicine or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience as a Life Time Personal Training Department Head
