Residential Program Manager Opening in Westminster, MA
LifeConnections Specialized Support Services provides community based residential, day and behavioral health services to youth, adults and families.
The Program Manager, under the supervision of the Regional Director, serves as a member of the management team in areas related to supervision and general operation of the residential program where individuals with behavioral/cognitive disabilities reside. The Program Manager is responsible for the overall functioning of the residential program including quality treatment, contract compliance, budget management, facilities, and hiring, training, retaining, and scheduling staff.

Responsibilities and Duties:
The Program Manager performs the following duties:
- Coordinates and supervises daily programmatic functions including supervision of staff, upkeep of the residence, and implementation of all aspects of individual treatment plans
- Ensures that complete and appropriate individual records are maintained in accordance with funding source regulations and Becket’s policies and procedures
- Oversees the development and implementation of skills development/IAPs, treatment plan goals, ISP objectives, and all other aspects of residential programming
- Participates in the training of all new employees
- Manages program funds and supervises personal finances for all clients
- Evaluates staff performance and provides on-going supervision to all staff
- Participates in the Emergency On-Call system as directed
- Ensures adequate program coverage and supervision at all times
- Keeps the Clinical Team updated on incidents and the overall shift synopsis on a daily basis
- Maintains Human Rights Training Certification for the position of Human Rights officer for individuals
- Ensures all Human Rights activities and initiatives are implemented and followed accordingly
- Safeguards all duties and responsibilities are carried out in a supportive and professional manner
- Attends appropriate meetings as directed
- Sustains flexible hours as dictated by program need
- Performs other job-related projects and activities as requested or directed
Qualifications:
- High School or Associate's degree with two years’ working with individuals with disabilities
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experience working in Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Must have high-attention to detail, emergency response skills, and the ability to multitask
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet the safe driver guidelines as established by employer’s insurance carrier
- Completion and satisfactory results of a criminal background check and fingerprinting are required
