As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for all logistical operations including import, export and the domestic movement of components and finished goods. Serve as the internal point of contact for inquiries regarding the timely arrival/transport of materials and goods. Work cross-functionally to ensure that all transportation occurs in congruence with the production schedule. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to.

Coordinate transportation for finished goods shipping according to internal production schedules.

Work with service providers to ensure that all import and export compliance is upheld, and that materials are moved through customs in a timely manner.

Provision and filing of commercial invoices when required.

Perform shipment related transactions, prepare, and verify that shipment documents are correct and communicate with customers with required information and documentation.

Determine HTS classifications.

Using work instructions, compare identifying information, counts and weights for items of outgoing/incoming shipments to verify accuracy of information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

Monitor inbound tracking reports to identify incoming materials required on the manufacturing floor.

Use ERP Software and all other applicable ERP functions which are essential for shipping and receiving transactions.

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

To qualify as a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll need the following:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Two year degree, certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications in logistics or trade compliance preferred.

2-5 years related experience in logistics coordination and transportation.

Import and export compliance, preferably in the med/pharma industry.

Experience working directly with brokers for customs entries.
-
Experience with all modes of transportation: air, ocean, intermodal, parcel.

Hazardous Material Transportation.

Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) experience and training preferred.

Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
