In this critical leadership role you will lead our multi-shift Packaging and Inspection departments, directing and managing all day to day activities and ensuring our products are packaged and inspected in accordance with all applicable regulations, company policies, and industry standards. This includes scheduling and directing employees within the department, communicating expectations, addressing questions, and communicating scheduling activities to other departments.
As a Manufacturing Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead our Packaging and Inspection teams by:
- Directing manufacturing activities for the assigned production area. This includes personnel/equipment scheduling to meet the master schedule, maintaining trained staff and basic budgeting responsibilities.
- Providing employee goals, growth opportunities and ensuring ongoing development of staff
- Having final manufacturing responsibility for all related manufacturing process documentation
- Interpreting and conforming to regulatory requirements and industry standards and review processes for conformance to these requirements/standards
- Ensuring existing manufacturing systems meet demands of production forecast
- Identifying and implementing process improvements: decrease human error potential, increase efficiency, and keep up to date on current technology.

- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Science or Business preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience in commercial FDA cGMP industry
- 5 years' manufacturing assembling and or packaging experience
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical labeling and packaging
- Experience participating in regulatory and customer site inspections
- Experience with label programming software, hardware, application systems, and bar code technology
- Experience with process systems validation
