About You and this Role
Liferay is looking for an individual that desires to be a master of their craft and has a passion for empowering others to be a master of theirs. In this role, you will be responsible for producing customer questionnaire response kits, analyzing sales cycle deficiencies, and delivering metrics to the solution team for follow on training. You are a team player and willing to work with multiple groups inside Liferay, such as Legal, Finance, Support, DevSecOps, and Sales Ops, to serve as a critical facilitator for revenue readiness. Your aim is to acquire diverse information from cross-functional sources across the company and act as a concierge to RFP/RFI/RFX response effort to mitigate information silos.
Ideal candidates can quickly consume, aggregate, and process information from a broad range of sources and across a wide range of topics and are self-motivated individuals that thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Success in this role will require multitasking with close attention to detail.
Key Objectives
- Support key revenue initiatives by managing and contributing to a canonical database for use on customer questionnaires.
- Partner with crucial sales leadership, establish qualitative metrics for in-region sales support, define rules of engagement for enablement overlays, and provide a gap analysis on what hinders sales opportunities from advancing in late stages.
- Establish collaborative schedules with other Analyst teams such as Business Analysts, Operations Analysts, and Revenue Intelligence to create a streamlined customer journey Liferay Sales teams can utilize to increase deal velocity.
- Assist Sales Enablement in the establishment of a data-driven sales transformation model.
- Serve as critical consultant to the enterprise sales team to enable effective responses to Customer Proposals (EOI, RFI, RFP, RFT, etc.)
- Research key solutions for Liferay on where customers perceive value before the opportunity closes to close the loop for knowledge gaps and global GTM strategy.
- Focus on enhancing the effectiveness of selling assets by proactively engaging the solution team with customer outcomes and needs to strengthen future customer acquisition experience and deal velocity.
- Communicate with local sales teams on the creation of sales assets, understand local requirements for localization efforts, and curate content that will have the highest impact.
- Analyze delivery of materials and scope of reach at the local level to provide feedback to the central enablement team to improve the UX of the Liferay sales portal.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- CPQ experience desirable.
- Experience using Salesforce a plus
- Desire to invest in people and serve as a key contributor to developing a high-performing enterprise sales team.
- Interest in becoming an enterprise sales enablement professional.
- You can own processes, solve problems and create credibility with your internal clients
- You are independent, motivated, and know-how to hit deadlines
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated attention-to-detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and GSuite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years minimum working in either contracts, orders administration, deal desk, sales or sales operations; OR
- 4 years of experience working with or supporting sales representatives, finance, legal, and operations teams.
- APMP Certification or equivalent working experience with Proposal Management.
- 2 years experience with RFPIO or Proposal Management Systems.
