Position Overview

The Manager of Marketing & Advertising is responsible for web site management, print and digital media generation, and marketing functional support. The Manager of Marketing & Advertising requires hands-on functional involvement in all stages of the creation of original marketing materials, both graphic and electronic. This position will work directly with the Management team and outside resources to develop advertising concepts, create original content and oversee its production and deployment. This person is directly responsible for the content, editing, and deployment of the monthly newsletter. This person will direct outside contractors to facilitate reliable web site operation, web site changes/updates, and print media generation/updates. This person will work in close coordination with Lifetime’s National Sales Manager to fulfill specific outside sales presentation and print media needs. This person will periodically review the function of the web site and the performance of existing advertising strategies and recommend changes or new initiatives. This position will work directly with a product design team at company headquarters. Ideally this position will develop into a product knowledge expert with increasing budget and content responsibility with opportunity for advancement.

Desired Core Competencies

· Demonstrated ability to design and generate original advertising, marketing, and training materials.

· Demonstrated ability to direct the efforts of graphic artists, printers, material suppliers, etc.

· Demonstrated ability to oversee maintenance and upgrades of a website – including managing a back-end hosting service to support reliable operation.

· Demonstrated ability to update and expand the company’s presence and effectiveness on multiple social media platforms.

· Knowledgeable on leveraging and designing social media presence to drive traffic to websites and increase lead generation.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a capacity of advertising and marketing for a manufacturing company or organization.

· Experience in the building products industry is preferred. Lacking this experience, the candidate must be able to grasp the concepts and product knowledge associated with the roofing industry.

· Solid, continuous work history that demonstrates a progression of responsibilities and successes.

· Able to generate content using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, PDF Writer Software, and Excel.

· Familiar with MS Outlook and MS Teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
