Description
$3,000 new hire bonus (new hired full-time staff), or $1,500 new hire bonus (new hired part-time staff)
- Provide daily oversight to the operations of the Peer Center
- Manage daily supervision of the Peer Support Specialist team, including:
- Assign job duties and expectations
- Assign and/or transfer clients as needed
- Ensure Peer Specialists are following QMHP service plans and meeting all client individual set goals
- Ensure certified Peers are providing evidence-based services
- Assure Peers are assigned and working within:
- Lifeways Peer Center
- Adult Mental Health Foster homes
- All defined Lifeways treatment homes
- River Bend Community Housing Partner
- Provide individual and group supervision meeting OAR requirements
- Maintain a small case load of clients as appropriate
- Maintain small budget for the Peer Center and Peer team

Qualifications
Required:
- Any combination of education and work experience equivalent to a high school diploma
- Must hold a Peer Support Specialist or Certified Recovery Mentor certification from a state-approved training program
- Five (5) years’ experience as a Peer Support Specialist
- Two (2) years’ experience working with clients who have substance use difficulties using harm reduction strategies
- Must meet the definition of a Peer as defined by the State of Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR)
- Current driver's license
- Successful completion of background check
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree human services
- If no PSS or CRM certification is held, then appropriate certification must be obtained within six (6) months from hire.
