ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)
- Responsible for the clinical supervision and professional development of clinicians.
- Observe, supervise, and assist clinicians on duty.
- Meet with clinicians at least 2 hours per month, with 1 hour of in-person contact.
- Observe treatment including individual and groups.
- Give constructive feedback to improve clinician’s abilities to provide treatment.
- Responsible for providing care to meet the physical and psychological needs of clients through direct and indirect services to both individuals and groups consistent with Rehabilitation & Recovery principles.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices, including group counseling skills, one-on-one counseling skills, treatment planning, assessments, and referrals.
- Write comprehensive reports each month to include file review, face time with each clinician, and the treatment observed.
- Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Maintain standards of confidentiality of Lifeways’ clients and records.

- CADC II
- Two years of relevant work, education, training, or experience working specifically with adults who have substance abuse difficulties.
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of background check
- Provide Covid-19 vaccine information, or Religious Exception, or Medical Exception
Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in a social science field
