Mobile Tire Press Technician
Lift has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Tire Press Technician out of our Williamsport location. The Mobile Tire PressTechnician is responsible for installing new and used tires as well as performing tire maintenance on forklifts and other related material handling equipment. The Mobile Tire Press Technician will adhere to safety procedures and company polices while providing helpful and responsive service to our customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for the proper and safe handling of customer equipment, as well as products according to OSHA Standards
- Safely, efficiently, and properly mount/dismount various sizes and types of industrial tires, utilizing a Hydraulic 200 Ton Press
- Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and equipment inventory levels on service truck, as well as on person
- Required to complete and properly manage paperwork for each job, as well as provide exceptional customer service both on the job site and while traveling in company vehicle
- Required to travel to various customer and company locations to service the customer and satisfy their needs. No overnights
- Follow all safety rules, wear proper PPE, and demonstrate safety conscious mindset
- Adheres to all policies, procedures, and safety best practices
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be over the age of 18
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have or willing to obtain DOT medical card
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- One to three years’ experience driving a 30’ non-cdl box truck
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to complete all tasks assigned properly, with little to no follow-up.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
- Ability to learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools
- Basic computer and/or smart phone skills.
