Parts Specialist
We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Specialist located at our Mountville branch. This role is primarily responsible for processing and fulfilling orders for both internal service staff, and external customers. While also maintaining a very high level of customer service. Previous experience working in a parts department or the material handling industry is a plus, but we will train the right individual.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for communicating to customers and internal staff, in person, on the phone, or via email for various parts assistance requests.
- Responsible for fulfilling customers and internal staff orders in a timely manner in person, on the phone, or via email.
- Occasionally deliver parts to customers and internal staff in Lancaster and York counties
- Work with internal team and external vendors on obtaining inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Occasionally pull & ship customer orders from within our stock room.
- Assist stockroom personnel when needed.
- Sometimes load and unload freight deliveries.
- Responsible for data entry and data management for customer inquiries and orders
- Communicate with other branches as required.
- All other duties required by management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be over the age of 18.
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent attention to detail.
- PA driver’s license and a clean driving record
- High school diploma or Technical Degree in automotive field or equivalent field
- Minimum of one (1) year experience with Microsoft Office and computer
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Positive and friendly attitude toward customers and fellow team members
- Must be able to follow directions both written and verbal.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Great organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on a variety of job tasks.
- The ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
- Physical requirements include sitting most of time as well as walking.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and occasionally lift over 75 pounds.
- Occasionally press customers tires
- Operate material handling equipment as required.
