What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Liftable Media Inc.?

The core function of this position is to support the Accounting Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department. We are looking for someone with at least 1-2 years experience in an office setting, and strong attention to detail. We're also looking for someone with a good work ethic and adaptability, who would enjoy working at a young, quickly growing company with a fun, relaxed environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Accounting Manager, this can include researching and analyzing accounts and preparing financial statements after training
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate recording
  • Help to resolve discrepancies and irregularities
  • Help maintain records and files
  • Helping to analyze current procedures and recommending changes
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Work on special projects related to administrative or accounting matters
  • Make bank deposits
  • Support in administrative efforts for the team and building

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • No vaccination requirement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite a plus
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks software a plus
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Highly skilled in dealing with numeric data
  • Enjoy changing environment
  • Must have solid computer skills overall
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills and be able to effectively communicate recommendations and/or ideas
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to perform tasks in an accurate and timely manner
  • Must ensure adherence to company guidelines
  • Must have excellent work ethic
  • Work from home opportunities available after training
