LightGrid, LLC is seeking to hire several enthusiastic individuals for part-time, paid HUBZone internship program positions at company headquarters located off of Birdneck Rd, Virginia Beach. All part-time positions are 10 hours a week. College students are encouraged to apply!

  • Use computer to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research.
  • Support the Business office with filing and inputting in the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Support the accounting department. 
  • Support recruiting in searching for candidates to fill open positions.
  • Coordinate schedules with applicants and interviewers, create calendars, send interview confirmations, monitor inboxes, and reconcile interview cancellations.
  • Perform data entry to input and update applicant information in the candidate database. 
  • Uphold confidentiality when handling applicant information.
  • Answer phone calls, scanning documents, and making photocopies is integral to the recruitment process. 
  • Ensure that all the necessary paperwork is filed and that applicant forms are completed and processed
  • Review application material, read resumes and cover letters, and set up phone interviews.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Due to Department of Defense contracts must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Highly Organized, Analytical, Results-Oriented (Required)
  • HUBZone Residency (REQUIRED)
  • Your primary residence must be in an area designated as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone).
  • You must reside in a HUBZone residence for at least 180 days (Or currently registered voter in this residence)
