Who We’re Looking For

We have an immediate opportunity for a Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the generation, implementation, improvement and audit of company ISO quality standards, supply chain management plans, quality management plans as well as overseeing internal quality controls for production and engineering development. Will be required to interact with customers and DCMA for government programs.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and continuously improve the company's quality management system to ensure its effective operation.
  • Generate and implement new quality standards, quality management plans, supplier management programs, hazardous material
  • Generate, implement and monitor EU certifications, ROHS, REACH compliance
  • Communicate with commercial and government customers including DCMA for government contracts
  • Responsible for supervising the strict implementation of quality system documents by all departments of the company, timely coordinating and supplementing and revising inappropriate problems, and proposing rectification requirements for poor implementation, and supervising and verifying them.
  • Organize regular internal audit of the company's system, conduct statistical analysis of non-conformance, track progress of improvement and verification, and establish and implement standardization.
  • In the case of significant changes in the organizational structure, or changes in the process, to assist in the completion of the quality system document version change or revision, the organization of management system knowledge training and other related work.
  • Responsible for the audit of the second and third parties and tracking the rectification and verification of non-conformance items.
  • Responsible for tracking and handling customer complaints, sorting out and analyzing customer complaint data, and proposing improvement plans.
  • Assisted in the improvement and optimization of various processes.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by superior.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in science and engineering, major in optics is preferred.
  • At least 3 years working experience in quality management system, technical experience in optical industry is preferred.
  • Understand the basic knowledge of the company.
  • Trained in quality operation management, product knowledge and standards.
  • Expert knowledge of ISO9001/TS16949 quality management system, have the ability to use PFMEA/APQP and other quality improvement tools.
  • Expert in quality management tools and QC techniques, skilled at data statistics and analysis, skilled in using MINITAB software.
  • Familiar with DCMA procedures and processes
  • Master Office and other related computer software.
  • Fluent English reading and writing, high oral and written communication skills.
