This position is remote, and a successful candidate will possess a willingness and desire to work independently without significant oversight. Additionally, this position will require moderate travel.

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishing new business sales through data mining, email and outbound phone call campaigns
  • Promptly responding to inbound leads and determine if they are qualified through consultation with the key members of the Commercial team
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements through key listening for feedback on service options
  • Creating sales opportunities by reporting and communicating data gathered in a CRM system to be shared with clients
  • Driving sales through analysis of the client's website 
  • Providing appropriate support to develop communications and other relevant material to the commercial team to facilitate client conversations and engagements in new business development 
  • Identifying prospective clinical partners that may be a match for Lightship, and identify key decision makers and influencers within these companies
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of clinical sites contacted

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 2 years inside sales, direct sales, customer service or telemarketing experience
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Strong customer service professional, confident and self-starter
  • Excellent time-management experience, results oriented
  • Ability to cultivate positive client relationships with clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven success prospecting, building pipelines, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing and discussing solutions with decision-makers
  • Have a desire to learn and advance in a fast-growing environment and capable of using good judgement and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.
  • Familiar with Salesforce and other data platforms/repositories
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
