Mobile Service Technician Heavy Equipment Responsibilities
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and complete repairs on equipment and property structures
- In conjunction with the fleet maintenance supervisor, implement preventative maintenance measures
- In conjunction with the fleet maintenance supervisor, maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Repair and maintain fleet equipment when repaired
- Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocols
- Repair and service various types of heavy equipment on a specific schedule
- Perform other maintenance duties as requested
Mobile Service Technician Heavy Equipment Education / Qualifications
- High School diploma / GED required - vocational school preferred
- Valid Driver License
- Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment - front end loader, forklifts and skid steers, etc.
- Basic hydraulic knowledge also a plus
- physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Effective writtenand oral communcation skills
- Able to work well with minimal supervision - this position reports directly to the fleet maintenance supervisor
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
- Able to work all shifts and overtime if necessary
- 5-7 years of experience a plus
- Must have own set of tools
