Job Details:
- Job Position: Woodyard Loader Operator | $1000 Sign on bonus!!!
- Job Type: Full time
- Shift Schedule: Day and Night Shift 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am flex schedule
- Salary: $18-$21 depending on experience
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
Responsibilities:
- Raw Material Mixing and Intake Process 100%
- Mix material per specification to ensure production is set up for upcoming days to ensure proper blend and moisture content 40%
- Receiving incoming loads of raw materials and separate by species 20%
- Inspect quality of raw material to standard and notify plant leadership of any defects 10%
- Load infeed bin per production schedule requirements 10%
- Conduct loader inspections and perform loader maintenance 10%
- Communicate with co-workers regarding the status of workflow 5%
- Other accountabilities as required 5%
Requirements:
- A High School diploma or GED required
- One to two years of loader operation experience in an industrial setting is highly preferred.
- Must possess good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task.
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and stand and sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to climb up and downstairs to get in and out of loader with no fear of confined spaces or heights.
- Requires the ability to do simple math calculations, use basic tools, and exhibit mechanical aptitude when conducting loader maintenance.
