What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at Lily and Liam Bistro?
Lily and Liam Bistro is looking for a Baker to join our team! We are a locally owned scratch kitchen restaurant incorporating fresh breads and desserts on our menu.
As a Baker at Lily and Liam Bistro, you will prepare breads, cakes, and desserts. You will work under the direction of the Executive Chef to produce daily and weekly product items using a variety of ingredients and tools. Professional training will be provided.
Requirements:
- Prior experience related to this role
- Ability to work independently in a timely and organized
- Ability to work well with others and incorporate feedback
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Detail oriented, ability to follow lists and company recipes
- Ability to work clean and follow all health and safety standards
Duties include:
- Preparation of classic French desserts, doughs and breads
- Completion of daily and weekly checklists
- Cleaning and preparing kitchen equipment and utensils
- Use of kitchen equipment and utensils (e.g. knives, kitchen timers, ovens, imersion blender, mixers, induction burner)
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
