Cravings Food Hall is now hiring a Sushi Chef!
Must have:
Basic knowledge in breaking down fish
Basic sushi training
Basic sushi terminology knowledge
Weekend and morning availability
Daily Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare individual dishes according to established recipes
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of sushi dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Monitor inventory and report all items to be ordered to the Head Chef
- Communicate with the Kitchen/Kitchen Manager for any and all produce, inventory and supplies
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide and engage excellent customer service for guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience and knowledge of fish and fish breakdown
- Willing to learn and train on new techniques and skills
- Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and ingredients
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Evenings, weekends, and holidays availability is required
