Our industry-leading Communications and Brand team is seeking a creative, self-starting Public Relations Intern for the summer semester to help Lime further define the future of urban mobility. As an Intern at Lime you will have the opportunity to contribute to:
- Creative storytelling about Lime’s impact in revolutionizing urban travel in cities around the world;
- On-going media relations efforts to further position Lime as leading consumer brand with a sustainability-minded purpose;
- Purposeful writing, including press releases, blog posts, Q&As and more, in support of Lime’s strategic goals

What you'll do: - Provide support to team members across core Public Relations programs, including earned media strategy, content development, speaking engagement proposals, award submissions, and more
- Develop and build media databases by researching media (locally, nationally and globally) and help to curate media lists across North America and Global Teams
- Strengthen your proficiency in the media relations field through research and support on proactive outreach, including assisting in the development of proactive editorial pitches and other written communications
- Provide support for metrics reporting, clippings and internal reporting newsletters
- Support industry and competitive news monitoring program, as well as Lime’s speaking engagement and awards strategy
- Provide support for events and brand campaigns, as needed
- Assist in local market storytelling via external facing communications materials, including press releases and official statements for local media in cities throughout North America, Australia, and New Zealand
University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements: - University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program with an expected graduation date in 2025 or 2026
- Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting in early June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruitment process
About you:- 0-1 year of PR internship experience
- Working towards a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or Political Science
- Proactive minded approach, with an ability to set priorities and deliver results using excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Intermediate understanding of media relations and the public relations industry
- Inherently organized and able to juggle multiple projects flawlessly

The anticipated monthly rate for this position is $4,300 - $5,400. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications as well as the candidate's location of residence.
