Who do we serve?

We serve individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other related developmental disabilities ranging from ages 18 months thru 19 years of age. We welcome key stakeholders such as parents, guardians, teachers etc. to be involved in the evaluation and treatment process. Each child has an individualized treatment plan that addresses their areas of need as determined by a multitude of assessments completed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Services are 1:1 carried out by the BCBA and a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)?

ABA is the science of behavior that looks at a behavior and how it is affected by the environment. It is based on the premise that if behavior itself is the primary focus, then we can attempt to improve the human condition through behavior change. ABA is founded on a set of principles in that behavior is a direct product of its environment and can be altered based on the consequences provided. ABA focuses on improving behaviors such as social skills, communication, daily living skills and adaptive behaviors. An ABA treatment program could seek to improve the following skills for example:

*Joint Attention

*Functional Communication

*Play Skills

*Self Help Skills

*Toileting Skills

*Challenging Behavior

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • An active and certified RBT via the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • Pay for and complete 40-hour training program (conducted by the BACB Certificant) based on the current RBT Task List
  • Pass the RBT Competency Assessment administered by a BACB certificant
  • Pay BACB to apply for RBT credential
  • Maintain yearly recertification
  • Active CPR/First Aid Certification Require

Responsibilities

  • Direct implementation of individualized programs for children and young adults based on ABA principles and to increase functional skills such as communication, daily living skills, social skills and play skills
  • Utilize positive reinforcement and antecedent strategies to increase appropriate behaviors
  • Manage challenging behaviors that occur through the implementations of Behavior Intervention Plans and consult with out BCBA’s
  • Conduct Preference Assessment to identify potential reinforcers within sessions
  • Collect accurate data throughout the session for every skill and behavior being targeted during the session
  • Utilize confidentiality and follow HIPPA when communicating with clinicians, families, clients or any other team members
  • Write and keep up to date on daily session notes
  • Abide by the most current RBT Code of Ethics per the BACB
  • Effectively communicate with parents, caregivers and other staff
  • Help BCBA on day to day task including but not limited to typing, cleaning, organizing, writing, etc.
  • Abide by Limitless ABA LLC handbook
  • Maintaining professionalism in highly stressful situations
  • Willingness to be active and fun with all children we encounter
  • Willingness to wear a face mask covered if a parent or consumer requests so

We offer a move after 90 days to a salaried position following a director review.
