We are currently looking for an Electrical Quality Control and Commissioning Manager to join our team!
Duties and Responsibilities (Including by not limited to):
- Responsible for all onsite quality control and commissioning support for a job site in Cartersville, GA.
- Produce and maintain submittal log and review drawings, specifications, submittals and RFIs for quality and to ensure requirements are met.
- Responsible for manufacturer pre-start up, startup and commissioning checklists as well as GC-required checklists using CxAlloy.
- Responsible for startup reports.
- Responsible for tracking and identifying all equipment when delivered onsite for receipt inspection, verifying equipment delivered matches approved documentation and reporting any discrepancies.
- Responsible for coordinating all testing and inspections, pre-test walk downs, and coordination with GC and GC commissioning manager.
- Responsible for producing and submitting for approval all owner training manuals and Installation Operation & Maintenance documents, and ensuring all documents meet GC requirements.
- Responsible for electrical and controls systems testing and the submission of all documentation to include testing and calibration reports and submission of turnover package.
- Responsible for conducting routine jobsite audits and site walks to ensure quality installations, compliance to code and adherence to safety requirements.
- Attend required safety training and comply with all company and site safety regulations and requirements.
- Other duties as assigned by Project Manager.
What we’re looking for:
- 10 years of previous experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work including experience as foreman and/or superintendent.
- Experience as a Quality Control Manager performing quality control inspections, audits, testing and producing turnover packages.
- Preferred CQM training / certificate obtained.
- Excellent communication skills -- ability to interact well with general contractors, project managers, foremen and company leadership.
- Experience with construction commissioning software – CxAlloy is preferred but not required
- Experience with construction project management software - Procore is preferred but not required
- Good computer skills including proficiency with MS Office
- Must be willing to travel, work nights, weekends and overtime
- Must hold a valid driver's license
