What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Equipment Tech- Virtual position at Lincare?
Lincare is the nation’s leading provider of oxygen, durable medical equipment and clinical respiratory services. We are currently seeking Service Equipment Techs to join our team in Clearwater, Florida.
Service Equipment Techs will work onsite at our corporate headquarters and virtually oversee the set-up of medical equipment/CPAP machines for our patients in their home.
Tasks:
- Perform patient CPAP machine set-ups in a timely and professional manner
- May also perform set-up of oxygen equipment and other durable medical equipment remotely
- This includes completion of all required documentation
- Instruct patient on the safe and proper use of equipment
- Complete 48-hour CPAP Compliance report
- Follow applicable policies and procedures of Lincare, including those in the Safety & Regulatory Manual including General Safety
- Complete all necessary paperwork and instruction of equipment using DocuSign and SameSurf for remote patients
- Equipment Technicians are part of our Clearwater Virtual team
- This is not a remote position
- Employee is required to work out of our corporate headquarters in Clearwater
Qualifications:
- Must have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Must be computer-literate
- Must be able to read and interpret instructions, effectively communicating them to patients
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Customer Service experience
- Must type at least 35 wpm
