What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Rep position at Lincoln Tech?
Lincoln Tech's Allentown, PA campus seeks Admissions Representatives who will focus on generating interest in programs offered by Lincoln Tech.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing primary contact with prospective students and their families. You will assist in conducting a detailed career planning session, providing personalized guidance on program selection, Lincoln Tech's curricula, and future employment opportunities, while adhering to our Admissions Code of Ethics.
Your role will involve managing a pipeline of admissions leads by contacting and developing relationships with potential students. You will represent the front line of Lincoln Tech's recruiting efforts, playing an important role in our long-term business growth.
What You'll Do
- Provide information about the programs, entrance requirements, curricula and academic standards to all potential students
- Comply with governmental regulations, standards of accreditation, and Admissions Department Policy as they relate to enrolling students and recruiting policies
- Provide campus tours to prospective students
- Complete all required forms for enrollment, schedule the Financial Aid appointment, and follow up to ensure that Financial Aid packaging is complete
- Evaluate and resolve student inquiries relating to the admissions process, and ensure that appropriate action is taken in compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Ensure that all pre-start paperwork is completed
- Follow up with students once they start school and maintain contact with them throughout their training to assist them when needed
- Keep all required reports current and accurate
- Attend Open Houses and other functions
- Report to Director of Admissions
- 2 years of sales or admissions experience
- Outstanding work ethic
- Customer-centric
- Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule that may require evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or GED (College degree preferred)
