We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various instrumentation, Control Systems (Allen Bradley/PLC 5) and electrical systems in our facility. Primary Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and electrical systems, on a variety of process equipment including centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, pumps, gas analyzers, control systems, electrical systems and process control valves
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on instrumentation, control systems, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation, control systems, and electrical systems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Repair or replace faulty components or systems as needed, including purchasing materials and equipment as required to complete work.
- Work with engineers and other team members to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all aspects of work.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, equipment inventory, and documentation of changes or modifications made, thru Linde’s CMS (Electronic Asset Management)
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or associate degree in instrumentation, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation and electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of DC, low voltage electrical systems, and gas analytical equipment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to instrumentation and electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P7ID’s, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel. And Power Point computer programs
- Valid driver's license.
