Job Summary Under the general direction of the V.P. of Sales & Marketing, is responsible for all actions of the divisional operation, profit centers and personnel therein. Performs necessary tasks to enhance the effectiveness of the divisional operation. Assists in the strategic planning of the division. Job Duties and Responsibilities Manage the Director of Retail Sales, Director of Sales Operations and Large Format Territory Sales Manager roles, including hiring, development, performance management and terminations. Direct and participate in the development and implementation of the goals, objectives and mission of the division as determined in conjunction with the President of the Company. With the assistance of the V.P. of Sales & Marketing, implement sales volume and revenue plans. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and subsequent modifications and insures compliance therewith; evaluate and direct modifications of standards to insure the correct controls are maintained at the divisional level. Insure compliance with the standards for hiring, discipline and termination procedures. Total supervision of department heads within sales and warehouse areas. Monitor operating systems to provide maximum efficiency and effectiveness of sales and warehouse workloads and workflow. Job Requirements High School diploma or equivalent with 5 - 10 years related experience. A valid driver's license. Knowledge of general sales, account management and marketing techniques Knowledge of inventory management and general merchandising Knowledge of administration and management principles Knowledge of human resources principles Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service Basic knowledge of computers and tablets Effective oral and written communication skills Skills in coordinating others Skills in critical thinking, problem solving and judgement and decision making Conflict resolution skills Ability to provide attention to detail Ability to work with others Ability to multitask Ability to articulate company goals, policies and their importance to supervised employees. Work Environment and Equipment Work generally takes place in an office setting with no unique or hazardous working conditions. Individuals must be able to use general office equipment, including a tablet or PC.
