LION is filling this key member of their Human Resources Leadership Team in Dayton. The focus of the position will be to serve as the lead HR Business Partner to build, optimize, and execute on HR Generalist duties such talent acquisition, human capital planning, employee relations, performance management and employee retention/engagement in key corporate functional area such as Finance, IT, PMO, and R&D. This person will also have oversight of our corporate office location and ensure quality service from the mailroom/receptionist team member.
In addition, this position will be heavily focused on projects around employee engagement/culture, employee branding and key leadership development and oversee HR policy development and compliance reporting through our third-party vendor. This person will work collaboratively with the HR Shared Services team, key functional leaders, and leadership team members.
This position will report to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and work closely with the balance of the global HR team. Because this role supports the corporate office functions and programs, this position must be in the office 3-4 days a week based on business demands.

IDEAL CANDIDATES’ QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS degree with 7 to 10 years of senior HR Business Partner experience in working in global, multi-site manufacturing/distribution organization with key business leaders.
- SPHR certification(s) or graduate degree a plus
- Ability to collaborate and partner with Sr VP, HR in the development and implementation of innovative HR strategies, policies & learning opportunities.
- Experience in driving and implementing employee engagement and culture programs across the organization.
- Experience in working in a highly automated HR environment where many of the HR workflows are automated thought UKG.
- Partner with other HR business partners, middle management, and senior leadership, in providing best in class HR/business recommendations. Design, implement, and administer competitive HR/business programs and policies.
- Collect relevant HR data and use HR analytics to draw meaningful conclusions.
- A strong communicator who is empathetic and articulate in all communication.
- Adaptive to change and comfortable with ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.
- Collaborative at all levels of the organization from non-exempt team members to executive level.
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to manage their time effectively.
- Oversee other HR-related projects and tasks as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and technically proficient in HR Generalist duties
- Must have the ability to operate in the day-to-day demands but have a roadmap of direction for HRBP support and development of programs.
