JOB SUMMARY:
LION is an international company that operates in three markets: the emergency services, military and civilian agency uniforms, and personal equipment markets. LION serves a global customer base of fire departments, law enforcement, military installations, institutions, corporate organizations, and training companies from multiple offices around the world.
Responsible for the management of the Company’s tactical marketing activities, both internal and customer-facing. Provide support for the execution of the Company’s communications, qualified sales lead generation, media activities and events—ensuring implementation is on time and within budget.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage and administer strategies and tactics that effectively build LION’s brand image and marketplace awareness while supporting targeted growth initiatives.
- Implement and coordinate marketing efforts, including promotions, new product launches and product/marketing campaigns. Track metrics for campaigns and report on outcomes.
- Trade Show and Special Events organization, logistics, timely shipments, follow through and ROI analysis
- Create and manage social media campaigns and postings.
- Assist in Marketing Research and focus groups as needed.
- Work closely with sales, dealers and product development to develop toolkits complete with event plan and collateral templates, artwork and other components to assist with ongoing field promotional activities.
- Maintain relationships and support marketing vendors and end users.
- Manage Salesforce campaigns, data entry, and reporting.
- Administer and track leads generated from trade shows and convert viable leads to contacts and opportunities in Salesforce.
- Inventory management of marketing collateral, giveaways and promotional items, etc.
- Maintain market database and information as required by VP or Directors of Marketing.
- Assist with updating and creating website information and landing pages.
- Other duties and projects as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a technical, marketing or related discipline
- Analytical aptitude and experience that results in fact-based business and marketing plans
- Excellent project management skills
- Credible presence with customers, suppliers and internal teams across all levels of the organizations
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize time
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Travel of up to 25%. Frequently travel is outside the employee's local area and overnight.
- Highly flexible and able to react constructively and with a positive attitude to multiple demands, shifting priorities, change and unexpected events.
- May be required at times to perform light lifting and carrying (30 lbs) and up to 8 hours a day on standing/walking/ driving.
