Summary
The Welder is responsible for adding value in the process flow by accurately assembling various components and/or sub-assemblies into specified fixturing and joining by welding or repairing defective welds.
Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Observance of all safety rules and policies maintained by the company
- Maintenance of a clean and organized workspace and Plant proper
- Picking and placing components or subassemblies into proper fixturing and joining by the application of GMAW (Gas-Metal-Arc Welding).
- Exercising product and process knowledge to identify out-of-conformance situations and alert supervisor or Quality Auditor of these situations in a timely manner
- Rotation of position into different production teams as is necessary to meet production schedules and Company goals in general
- Maintenance of good housekeeping practices at all times.
- Ability to set up welding equipment including changing gas

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly talk and listen. This position is not very active when it comes to movement and requires a lot of typing and sitting in a chair.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of work and days are decided by production or General Manager.
Travel
There is no travel with this position.
Required Education and Experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus!
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be able to pass E-Verify.
