Rental leasing agent

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Rental Leasing Agent to join our team. As a Rental Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding and leasing rental properties. This is a customer-facing role that requires excellent communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities include:

• Answering phones
• Responding to inquiries from potential renters
• Following up on leads for potential renters
• Following specific, prescriptive policies and procedures detailed in writing, perform background checks, income verification, and other application information verification to qualify or disqualify prospective renters
• Preparing leasing documents for potential renters using property standards and regulations
• Tracking the collection of rent payments, security deposits and other fees
• Keeping residents informed of any changes to rental agreements or upcoming property issues
• Preparing lease renewals
• Tracking maintenance requests
• Building a rapport with current tenants to give them personalized service
• Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and remain in compliance with all potential and current renter interactions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
