Now Hiring a Parts Outside Sales Rep

Pay Range : $2,800 - $4,000 / monthly (DOE and Performance)

The Parts Outside Sales position is responsible for providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.

We’re looking for a self-motivated and career-drivenAutomotive Parts professional who will thrive in a challenging, dynamic environment to join our team.

The Parts Outside Salesperson assists the external customer in identifying, ordering and fulfilling automotive parts needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by answering questions, checking stock availability, and taking parts orders in a quick, friendly and professional manner in accordance with Initial Customer Contact (ICC) process.
• Communicate effectively with customers and vendors via phone, in-person, or email.
• Visit external vendors to determine needs.
• Create accurate invoices in ADP.
• Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area and stockroom.
• Receive, unpack and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
• Check quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders. Check number and unit cost as well as total billing for charges against proper records.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
• Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience as a retail counter person, or outside sales at a dealership / parts store
• CDK experience
• Chevrolet experience
• Excellent communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Extensive knowledge of automotive parts
• Customer service & cash handling experience
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required. Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence necessary for select roles.
