Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media and Marketing Manager to join our restaurant team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive engagement and revenue.
We are a locally owned restaurant group with three businesses in the Valley area. We have a loyal IG base of 37,000 followers and no shortage of potential content opportunities. Content has all been managed by the Co-Founder since inception and it's time to bring in another person to own this department and help drive traffic to the restaurants.
Duties:
- Create and manage social media content calendars
- Develop engaging social media posts, including text, image, and video content
- Monitor social media channels for trends and opportunities
- Write newsletter content for 12,000 subscribers
- Collaborate with the restaurant teams to create integrated campaigns
- Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
- Regularly Report on effectiveness, reach and return to management and owners
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Illustrator for creating graphics
- Strong research and reporting ability
- Familiarity with Google Analytics for tracking performance
- Web design knowledge for optimizing social media profiles
- Experience in photography and video editing for creating compelling visual content
- Understanding of digital marketing principles
- Professional experience presenting reports and interfacing with executive leadership
- Ability to proofread and edit content for accuracy
- Proficiency in Hootsuite or similar social media management tools
This position requires a candidate who is creative, detail-oriented, and self managed. Integrity and Trust are key characteristics in a successful candidate for this role.
This is a part time position with flexibility on schedule and work location. Some on-site photography and video will be required to achieve the marketing strategies. Our employees also love to grab content need someone to send it to for posting, sometimes on weekends and after hours.
