Job Description
Job Title: Marketing Director
Department: Marketing
Reports To: President
Summary: - The Marketing Director builds and executes comprehensive strategic marketing plans for target market segments/industries for Liv Pur, LLC, and manages a team of marketing analysts to execute on said plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Builds and executes comprehensive strategic marketing plan for Liv Pur, LLC
- Manages the US marketing team, implementing a project management and execution system to efficiently delivery on strategic initiatives established by the Business
Development Manager, Innovation
- Builds brand and capability awareness across customers and prospects
- Drives implementation of strategy in conjunction with Liv Pur, LLC
- Develops plans/funnels for new markets and categories and works to implement them.
- Drives improvement of quality and assess impact of these plans/projects on commercial growth and performance
- Assesses trends across regions and our target industries and identify innovation opportunities
- Keeps informed and shares relevant industry news and reports on markets, customers and competitors.
- Understands key competitors, their product offerings and strategy and relate this back to Liv Pur to sharpen our proposition, offerings and innovation drive.
- Works with internal-stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop trend/insight led new concepts, products etc.
- Develops new marketing processes, methods and toolkit to increase our marketing and sales success. Coach commercial team on these materials, and how to position to their accounts and prospects
- Develops and control budgets, allocate resources across projects
- Manages agencies and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management
- Work collaboratively with third party marketing firms
- Becomes front-facing agent for external parties such as media, with marketing departments at key accounts and build strategic partnerships
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises marketing analysts within the company marketing division.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
- Successful candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, strategic and critical thinking skills.
- Team management, mentoring and developing direct reports experience necessary.
- Experience in creation and execution of social media, direct mail, and email marketing initiatives
- Demonstrated sound judgment and decision making abilities
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing or related field with
7 years’ industry experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
