The Application Experience team supports a unified user experience across a fleet of SaaS applications. We are implementing tools and services to merge LiveRamp’s products into a consistent user experience. This includes LiveRamp’s design system library, which provides reusable UX patterns for a global collaboration of application developers focused on different business needs. It also includes the development of a micro-frontend framework to coordinate UIs developed for several different lines of business. The team not only provides these tools, but actively advocates for, and facilitates, their adoption.
You will:
- Partner with the User Experience team as a technical leader in the continued development of Motif, LiveRamp’s Design System (https://motif.nexus.liveramp.com/).
- Establish best practices and tools to maintain the quality of the UI components supporting the design system.
- Develop package management and versioning approaches that optimize performance, modularity, and developer velocity.
- Advocate for the continued adoption of the design system and the development of high-quality user interfaces across engineering.
Your team will:
- Provide the tools and architectural guidelines that facilitate a consistent, sustainable, and unified customer experience across all of LiveRamp’s applications while allowing each application team to focus on their specific value proposition.
About you:
- 5 years of experience developing UIs and UI components
- 3 years of experience with React
- Enjoy collaborating on an agile, cross-functional development team
Bonus Points:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with Storybook.js
- Experience with UI snapshot testing
- Experience optimizing JavaScript bundlers (Rollup, webpack)
- Experience developing and maintaining a design system
