As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for setting customers up for long-term success on LiveRamp products by solutioning our most challenging customer issues in the SMB and Enterprise accounts. You’ll need to translate client needs into tactical, analytic requirements and run the analyses on their behalf. And a critical requirement is that you must be able to understand and communicate advanced engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
To be successful as a Solution Architect, you should have comprehensive technical and solution background in a data-driven marketing ecosystem, be highly organized, thrive in and be effective in ambiguous environments, be able to easily communicate technical concepts to non-technical people, and be able to work collaboratively across organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Solution Architect/Consultant externally and internally. You will work with many of the world's largest and most well-known brands, advertisers and agencies, financial institutions, and data providers while collaborating with LiveRamp Sales, Technical Services, and Product teams
- Collaborate with clients and the rest of the Global Services team to understand client goals, define an approach and work within the LiveRamp product environment to deliver results
- Advise and resolve clients' most challenging business or technical issues on the best possible solution even if it is not what the client initially thought they wanted
- Apply an analytical approach to problem-solving, troubleshooting, and understanding client needs
- Drive customer discovery sessions to gain a deep understanding of client requirements and leverage LiveRamp platforms to deliver results
- Project Management - each implementation will be its own project and you will be expected to manage multiple clients simultaneously in varying stages of progress along a documented process
- Fast learner - you must be able to quickly grasp and learn new technical subjects and be able to explain them to others. This also includes an understanding of the LiveRamp suite of products and their benefit to the client
- Selfless Team Player - you will interact with business, engineering, product, and clients, representing many different types of personalities and opinions. You must be able to effectively communicate and navigate between all parties
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members where necessary
- Contribute towards building a great company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or other quantitative fields
- 3 years of relevant experience preferably in adtech/advertising technology (DMPs, DSPs, SSPs, Ad Servers, Publishers) or similar technical customer-facing roles driving solutions in a SaaS environment (ex: Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, etc.) - high-growth / fast-paced company experience is a plus. Experience in advertising or digital marketing is a bonus
- Experience in a professional services / consulting organization
- Fluent in SQL and Ruby, Python, or another programming language for analytic and automation purposes
- Strong presentation skills including confident presence over the phone, Zoom, and in person. You’ll be presenting results in front of external audiences both small and large
- Strong verbal and written communication skills both internally and externally. Proactive, thorough, and transparent in communication - people rarely need to follow up with you. You are able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical folks, from on-the-ground ops teams to executives. Able to quickly understand and decompose complex questions and concepts.

- Comfortable with and has experience working in ambiguous environments while working in a consultative manner with customers
- Exceptional EQ
- Technical Expert in Training - you know the ins and outs of Big Data processes, GCP, and Automation or you have a strong desire to learn them
- Action-oriented and independent with hands-on experience delivering business results
- Willingness and desire to learn and adopt new skills - both technical and non-technical - in order to craft and deliver the best solutions
- Able to travel at least a few times a year (post-Covid)
Preferences:
- Data science experience
- Understanding of LiveRamp’s role in the market and the broader Adtech/Martech space
- Knowledgeable of media planning, measurement, and optimization process and acumen (both online and offline)
- Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and design
