Job Summary
Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking to hire a hardworking, detail-oriented Scale Clerk to work at our feed mill facility in Saginaw, TX. The Scale Clerk will primarily be responsible for assisting with administrative scale operations, directing truck traffic, inventory data entry, and quality control. Additionally, the Scale Clerk will assist the Office Manager with accounting processes, as requested.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Effectively direct truck traffic from the scale house to the correct location in the mill yard for both loading and unloading purposes.
- Perform data entry into google sheets for inbound and outbound loads.
- Assist with miscellaneous filing, data entry, and accounting responsibilities, as assigned by the Office Manager.
- Perform grain and other ingredient quality testing.
- Remain alert and engaged while on duty.
- Always maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to work, stand, and sit for 8-10hours/day.
- Ability to work with industry personnel.
- Must maintain a safe working environment.
- Basic computer and data entry skills, preferred experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
- Agricultural experience preferred, but not necessary.
