What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMA position at Living @ Ease?
Living @ Ease is seeking a CMA to fill a per diem position. We are looking for an individual to fill the shift hours of 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM. We are offering a rate of pay of 17 - 22 dollars per hour for this position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Take vital signs.
- Assist doctors with diagnoses.
- Take lab samples.
- Perform lab tests.
- Sterilize medical instruments.
- disposing of contaminated supplies
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Serves and protects the physician or health care provider practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures,
- Completes records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
- Educates patients by providing medication and diet information and instructions; answering questions.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Monroe, NC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
