Job Summary
The Healthcare Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, faciliting and/or leading improvement teams and projects across the organization. Manages targeted and prioritized projects. Integrates best practices in decision-making and process in order to achieve break-through improvements in key process supporting the overall strategic initiatives. Functions as an internal expert who helps solve complicated business problems. Management and 24-hour responsibility for the planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling of the Project Management department(s).

Essential Functions, Duties, And Responsibilities
Prepares and administers the department's annual operating and capital budget within financial expectations' accounts for variance.
Recruits, develops, retains, and leads an appropriate number of personnel to meet department needs and the goals and objectives of Livingston HealthCare.
Develops and annual education plan.
Develops and maintains departmental policies and procedures to ensure adherence to professional and legal standards, quality of service, fiscal control, and customer relations.
Adheres to administrative policies and procedures relating to human resource management.
Additional Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of targeted and prioritized projects. In doing so, coordinates stakeholders and resources, establish and meet timelines, and ensure successful results with on-time delivery.
Develop project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project’s lifecycle.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Draft and submit budget and resource proposals, and recommend subsequent changes where necessary.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
Identity and resolve issues and conflicts within the project.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and device contingency plans.
Develop and implement improvement plans based on data-driven strategies that increase efficiency and optimize operational performance.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, effectively communicating project goals, updates, and changes.
Resolve any issues or delays in project execution proactively and manage project risks.
Serve as internal expert as it relates to value enhancement, project management and continuous process improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS (Required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Five years of professional experience in project management, systems analysis, continuous process improvement and/or related areas.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience related to budgeting and capital/purchased services acquisition and deployment.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
Experience driving major change efforts through a health system and within a multidisciplinary team.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
Willingness to obtain project management certification within two years of hire.
